Audience Marketing Manager

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 Basic

Our client, a leading healthcare publisher, requires a new Audience Marketing Manager. 
In a rapidly growing team, we're looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic Audience Marketing Manager to develop the organisation's marketing and campaign capabilities to reach a growing number of healthcare professionals, particularly across social media, email marketing, events and partnerships.

Key Repsonsibitlies:

  • Ownership, development and execution of the HCP (healthcare professional) marketing plan to achieve a set of KPIs including unique website users and journal subscribers
  • Management of promotional campaigns to engage HCPs through a variety of channels including email, social media and advertising
  • Working with Editorial to utilise existing and new content appropriate to our audiences, as well as developing thought leadership strategy
  • Management of the event strategy from conferences and exhibitions to in-house events and webinars
  • Ownership of the media partnership strategy working with the SEO Manager to significantly drive referral traffic
  • Work with the Digital and Data Innovation Manager to develop our understanding of the audience, engagement levels and the quality of data held
  • Working with the design team to ensuring that healthcare professional campaigns across all channels are on-brand
  • Monitoring of campaign performance, ensuring key feedback is passed to relevant stakeholders to assist future decision-making
  • Ownership of competitor analysis to assist with positioning
  • Understanding target audiences through the management of surveys
  • Line management of the Marketing Co-ordinator

Skills & Experience:

  • Educated to bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of B2B Marketing experience ideally in STM/Healthcare publishing
  • Significant knowledge and experience of digital marketing, particularly email and social media channels, and how to optimise
  • Excellent experience with marketing automation tools (e.g. Pardot, Eloqua or Marketo)
  • Proficient in CRM platforms
  • Experience of using web analytics e.g. Google Analytics
  • Superb English language written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent at building strong internal and external relationships
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
  • Positive, adaptive and flexible attitude
  • Management experience desirable
