Our client is a leading global technology business that is creating marketing-leading, innovative tools, in partnership with the community to tackle some of the biggest challenges to research.
Due to continued growth in APAC, they are searching for a new Corporate Sales Director based in Singapore, who will be responsible for maximising sales for two core product groups in a growing corporate market (corporate R&D, biopharmaceutical, Medical Affairs, automotive & chemicals).
Key Responsibilities:
- Entrepreneurial ownership of a sales territory for a fast-growing suite of products
- On-going achievement of bookings and pipeline growth targets
- Cross-functional teamwork to ensure that all customer commitments can be met
- Offer a high level of service to represent the company in the market
- “Eyes and ears” to the product management team
- Work closely with Business Development to drive early sales pipeline development
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of sales experience selling into the corporate R&D space
- Pre-existing network of contacts in corporate R&D sectors including biopharmaceutical (especially Medical Affairs & discovery), automotive, chemicals, consumer products, materials, oil & gas
- Experience with Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator preferred
- A college/university degree in engineering, chemicals, or materials discipline is preferred
- Demonstrated the ability to manage a pipeline, close deals, and exceed revenue goals with a saas-based product
- Experience selling Professional Services
- Solutions approach to selling
- Effective presenting, communicating, and selling effectively to senior-level executives, on the phone, web meetings and in person
- Team player, but also comfortable working independently
