Our client is a leading global technology business that is creating marketing leading, innovative tools, in partnership with the community to tackle some of the biggest challenges to research.
Due to continued growth, we are searching for a new Global Business Development Director who will work closely with Account Managers, internal teams, and external partners to achieve their new customer business goals and support quota achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Account Managers, internal teams, and external partners to achieve our new customer business goals and support quota achievement
- Creating new opportunities using all applicable business development methods Identify client needs and match them with relevant solutions and stories to build new business relationships
- Represent the company at conferences and gatherings to enhance the profile of our portfolio and create new business opportunities and similar market activities
Skills & Experience:
- Business development expertise to create new relationships and opportunities
- Demonstrated success in supporting sales of information solutions/software (i.e. instead of content) and ideally experience in selling a combination of multiple products and services
- Experience supporting sales and doing business development within information solutions/software solution space
- Experience in working with multiple stakeholders
- Strong communicator and able to present your findings to a varied audience through written and verbal presentation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
