Our client is a leading global technology business that is creating marketing leading, innovative tools, in partnership with the community to tackle some of the biggest challenges to research. Due to continued growth, they require a new Head of Total Reward & Compensation

The Head of Reward & Compensation will be part of the Global People Team. The Global People Team partners all areas of the business and adds value through delivering all aspects of people services, contributing to our strategic growth plans.

You will lead on the creation of the total rewards framework, globally, so that the client can grow and retain their talented people. This will include designing and delivering our approach to total reward across all parts of the business and its portfolio businesses and supporting our people priorities to empower our business to deliver on the strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, deliver and maintain the Reward framework across the business and manage relevant external reward data benchmarking information to ensure that quality market information can be used when making remuneration decisions.
  • Manage and support the annual salary review process accurately and effectively within budget constraints including the delivery of the annual bonus and sales commission schemes.
  • Create an approach to job grading across the business to enable alignment across job families/teams/countries.
  • In partnership with the Country HR teams create a global framework for benefits.
  • Review and maintain relationships with global external suppliers of employee benefits and develop other non-cash reward initiatives Deliver external projects such as
  • Gender Pay reporting.
  • Support the business strategic priorities e.g. global approach to remote working.
  • Partner with business leaders regarding strategic plans to support business objectives.

Skills & Experience:

  • You have significant experience leading and implementing on total rewards strategy and HR Initiatives in a global business
  • You are an experienced HR business partner, partnering at both a strategic and operational level
  • You have experience of both the design and implementation of global approach and process
  • You’re practical, pragmatic and self-reliant You’ll be a strong communicator and will be experienced in managing change
  • You have a collaborative approach and have experience building and maintaining relationships across teams and countries
  • You’ll excel in a complex, fast-paced environment and are able to manage changing priorities
  • You’re resourceful and solutions focussed, making practical considerations for all groups involved
  • You’re proactive and capable of managing conflicting requests and expectations
  • You’re approachable and enjoy building and maintaining relationships across the business
  • You’ll have experience of working in a global business and with remote and dispersed teams
