Our client, a leading academic publisher, requires a new Higher Education Sales Representative (Books) to cover Scandinavia.
The Higher Education Sales Representative will promote key Publishing products and solutions in Higher Education institutions in the assigned sales territory, maximizing revenue to achieve agreed annual sales goal, through direct sales of new print and digital products to institutions and academics. This role will be based in the Scandinavia region and will report into the European Sales Manager. The successful candidate will ideally have full professional proficiency in English and a Nordic language.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree educated
- Experience in a sales or marketing role within a publishing context is highly desired
- Must be highly motivated and well organised individual
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of Academic publishing would be preferred for this role
- Computer literate in Microsoft office
- An independent worker who can effectively cope with change and make effective decisions
