Location: Oxford – 3 days in the office
Salary: Competitive Salary + Bonus
Our client is a leading global subscription agency for digital reference resources. Due to continued growth, they require a new Account Executive. You will be part of the international sales team, actively prospecting and selling to secondary schools across the APAC region.
Your role will involve compiling lists of school contacts and primarily communicating with them via email to share details about digital resources tailored to their curriculum needs. While our main contacts are usually librarians, you’ll also engage with subject teachers and International Baccalaureate coordinators. A key aspect of the position is prospecting, which includes reaching out to new contacts and introducing existing customers to additional resources that could be valuable for their students, focusing on both cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
You will be responsible for crafting prospecting emails to send to all your contacts. Additionally, our marketing team will conduct their own email campaigns targeting different contact groups, generating even more leads for you. The incoming inquiries will typically involve requests for free trials of resources or price quotes. You’ll provide the necessary information and follow up, with the goal of securing a subscription. While our sales approach is consultative and advisory, rather than hard or aggressive, there are sales targets that need to be met.
