Product Manager – Learning Videos

Location: London, UK
Salary: On application 

Our client, a global academic publisher, requires a new Product Manager to work across their video collections unit. Created to support scholarly use, each collection includes a breadth of video types and lengths to support students of all levels. All videos are fully citable with searchable transcripts, custom clip creation and embedding.

The Product Manager will work closely with editorial, marketing, sales and other internal experts to define and deliver digital products to support teaching and learning.

This role requires a deep curiosity into what makes for great digital learning experiences, with a focus on academic video and visual media. It also requires the ability to take market information and user feedback and combine that with business goals and objectives to test, enhance and build products that will meet user needs and be commercially successful.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working in Product Management
  • Awareness of the Academic Publishing Industry

  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective stress management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of the full suite and administration of Office 365 Microsoft solutions
  • Strong knowledge of product management best practices
  • Good understanding of the latest tech trends.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and/or other data analytics / data management tools
  • To be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a fast-changing environment.
  • Experience working on products featuring video and other visual media is an advantage
