Sales Lead

Salary: £60,000 – 80,000 Basic + Bonus (Negotiable)

We are searching for an experienced strategic Sales Lead with a background in building out sales operations and workflows, for a new SaaS client that provides a unique and unmatched platform to music and arts universities and institutions.

The new Sales Lead will be responsible for building on the already existing sales strategy, managing a team of three, and growing the revenue generation of the business to more than £3m in FY22.

The client has grown its B2B base significantly in the past 12 months, and now has more than 140 institutional partners. These include Cambridge, Harrow, Columbia, CalArts, Conservatorio di Milano, The University of Hong Kong and many more. As this is fast becoming an important revenue generating area, we are looking for someone to come in, take on and improve the already existing structure, and drive sales towards the FY22 targets.

Reporting to the CEO, there will be a great deal of independence to reshape and restructure, creating new solutions and constantly testing new approaches. You will also work closely with Marketing and Design teams to create assets; the Technology team to improve the product; and the Content team to define key areas for strategic growth in the catalogue and services we offer. 

This is a dynamic role and the two key qualities are relentless drive and creativity.

Skills & Experience:

  • A track record of building and improving Sales systems from the ground up A proven record of managing teams which have reach £1m-£20m yearly sales targets
  • Experience working with institutional Sales, particularly selling to tertiary institutions
  • Experience managing Sales teams
