German Renewal Account Manager

Our client, a leading STM publisher, requires a Renewal Account Manager to cover Germany, ideally with a background in healthcare solutions.

You will be responsible for the retention and growth of the clients existing customer base including Hospitals, Universities and Medical Schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Presenting the product suite to a diverse audience, in order to retain our existing customer base and grow revenues year on year.
  • Cross-sell and Up-sell complementary solutions
  • Working with assigned customers to implement a strategy, and internal marketing campaigns, to promote, and increase usage
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell and expand our service within your assigned accounts
  • Manage and develop your sales pipeline to ensure achievement of quarterly, and annual revenue sales targets

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven sales experience – ideally gained from selling complex healthcare solutions/services
  • Track record within German Heathcare Sales
  • Comfortable establishing contact and selling to all levels in the organization including physicians, medical librarians and, most importantly, top management
  • Able to think outside the box and confident in expressing ideas
  • Excellent communication, presentation, training and interpersonal skills
  • Able to build rapport with people easily, at any level, and develop long term relationships
  • Well organized, with a strong attention to detail is a must
  • Able to work from a home office environment
  • Excellent IT skills
  • A team player, able to work autonomously as and when required
  • Confident presenting to a diverse audience
  • Willing and able to travel 30-40%
  • Fluent English & German
