Marketing Automation Coordinator

Our client, a leading STM publisher, requires a new Marketing Automation Coordinator to join their CRM team.

The Marketing Automation Coordinator supports the CRM Marketing to drive the use of email marketing automation platforms to the wider business and to promote best practice.

You would have responsibility for assisting the CRM team and Marketing departments with developing and maintaining automated marketing programs, including testing and liaising with stakeholders.

You will also manage the creation of marketing forms and email templates and will assist others in the team with devising and testing new applications of our Marketing Cloud and Pardot systems to meet the needs of the wider marketing organisation.

You will also assist in creating and developing original and interactive training resources to assist marketing with using automated platforms and new developments. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in digital marketing who is keen to help colleagues realise their marketing goals through the application of CRM functionality.

Ideally will have:

  • Experience of working with Email Service Provider technology
  • Good HTML skills and ability to prepare and optimize images for use online

  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritise, delivering on time

Academic Outreach Executive

Our client, a leading provider of tools and innovative communications services for academic researchers, research groups, institutions, publishers, societies and funders require a new Academic Outreach Executive.

We have successfully placed 2 out of the 3 roles available, so this is the final position in the new team.

You will be responsible for selling the client's award winning platform to universities, initially in the UK. You will use our CRM system to prioritise contacts and opportunities in your sales territory.
You will demonstrate the platform to potential customers via online meetings. Occasionally, for large, more complex sales it will be necessary to visit customers on campus. However, the work will be mostly office-based.
You will work closely with the Head of Sales and wider team to conduct outreach and close sales opportunities to meet quarterly sales targets.

We need someone with proven experience of developing new business in an inside-sales environment. Experience in the Higher Education market is useful, but we’re interested to hear from any talented sales professionals with B2B sales experience with software or subscription services background. 

Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years’ business development experience, in technology, media, telecommunications or other services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organisation.
  • Ability to determine solutions with customers (consultative sales approach).
  • Enthusiasm for and understanding of new media, metrics and technologies Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
