Location: UK (commuting distance to Cambridge or Manchester)
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 Basic + 12% commission
Our client is a leading provider of web-based solutions that streamlines R&D processes to foster innovation and accelerate scientific discoveries. Due to continued growth in they now require a new Sales Representative based in the UK.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life sciences and a passion for leveraging technology to advance scientific research. There is currently a team of three support people in the UK, and we are looking for someone to drive new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of their solutions.
- Identify and engage potential pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the life sciences software industry.
- Experience selling to Pharmaceutical, Biotech and research organisations
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.
- Strong understanding of R&D workflows and laboratory informatics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote territory.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe as needed.
