Our client, a global medical communications business, requires a new Director of Medical Communications who will play a key role in developing and executing the business strategy to drive growth and revenue, focusing on Pharmaceutical/Biotech companies.
You will lead the commercial efforts and have full P&L responsibility for the division, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. You will manage and provide oversight to the production and editorial teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality scientific content and services.
You will develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for medical communications at an affiliate/regional level, including market analysis, segmentation, pricing and revenue projections.
This role requires deep expert knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in global commercial management.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of global leadership experience in pharma education, pharmaceutical sales, or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including pharma learning trends and regulations.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets and effectively leading global sales teams.
- Demonstrated track record of leading global/multicultural teams including operations and editorial teams
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proven ability to establish and nurture strategic relationships.
