Salary: £35,000 Base + 10% of Sales
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Education Sales Consultant with a passion for music education for a new EdTech start-up. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational sales, a love for music, and a proven ability to nurture relationships with primary and secondary schools across the UK.
This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, with a focus on consultative and solution-based selling of our online subscription products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales to meet deliverables and KPIs through proactive selling strategies.
- Conduct discovery calls, sales pitches, and product demos. Attend UK conferences as required.
- Assist in customer onboarding, conduct post-call surveys, and gather feedback to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Stay abreast of market trends in music education and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM, keep tasks up to date, and address inquiries promptly.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in educational sales, specifically selling to schools in the UK.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and office programs.
- Strong online presentation skills, comfortable using platforms like Teams and Zoom.
- Ability to travel internationally and within the UK as needed.
- Desirable: Musical background and experience interacting with teachers and SLT, and experience in international markets.
